  I like the comment about the earlier you are the more holier you are.

  That is so true. The spirtually sick ones come right at the starting time

  or 5 minutes late.

  ive been thinking about the future of the watchtower organization and the challenges it faces in coming decades.

  its difficult to address the issue without allowing personal feelings affect the analysis.

  many people seem to think that the society will collapse fairly soon, based mostly on the fact that the person dislikes the leadership or cant understand how others can believe the doctrine.

  Last week I drove by the KH Thursday at 6:25 PM which is

  35 minutes before the meeting starts and there were already

  15 cars in the parking lot. I asked myself "what the hell do they

  do for 35 minutes?" Then it dawned on me that the average

  JW does not have a life. Movies, sports, wordly relatives are

  all taboo. The only life they have is going to the meetings and

  going from door to door counting their time.

  Maybe Paradise will be like it was in the garden of Eden.

  We will use grape leaves sewn together to cover our

  privates up. Wait a mninute, Adam and Eve were naked

  until they sinned. If they need not sin would they have

  been but naked for ever? I don't think that I want to see

  any of the people going to the Kingdom Hall being naked.

  I like the Paradise pictures where the women wear pretty dresses

  and no slacks. Everone looks so happy with all of the food on a blanket

  on the ground ready for a big picnic. However, I never see garbage

  bags or trash bins for the corn husks or other scrap left overs.

  Maybe we will just throw the garbage into the always near body

  of water and let the fish it. What the heck are alligators going to

  eat? Why did God give those animals such large teeth and large

  mouths big enough to bring a deer down? In paradise will they

  still kill dear in front of the children riding on the elephants?

  Maybe they will need those big teeth to eat the corn husks

  and apple cores thrown into the water.

  Yesterday during the Witchtower Study, every one was

  talking about how wonderful Paradise will be with no food

  shortages, perfect weather, no pollution, no disease, and be

  able to play with lions and tigers. They do not even stop to consider

  the following:

  Why doesn't the Witchtower ever show the inside of the pretty houses?

  (perhaps no refigerators or gas stoves)

  They never show factories with smoke stacks. What is going

  to be used for power? Oil, gas, coal? Who is going to make

  cars or are we going to all have our personal elephant, donkey,

  or horse. I would hate to be in charge of cleaning up all of

  the elephant crap in my garage or stepping in lion crap in

  the back yard. Who is going to make all of the tractors and

  bulldozers that will be required to turn the earth into a paradise?

  We will need foundries, machine shops, electricity, coal mnes,

  oil wells etc. ( Maybe BP will survive the Big A)

  Maybe we will till the ground with plows pulled by horses.

  If one has bad eyesight and wears glasses, with ones vision

  become perfect overnight? If not and your vision gradually

  gets better how many pairs of glasses will you have to go thru

  as your vision improves? How long will take all of the joyus

  survivors to bury the billions of dead people and to remove

  all of the debris left after the defastation of Armageddon?

  Look how long it took the clear away just two buildings after

  9/11 with plenty of heavy duty equipement.

  When the powergrid is knocked out and there is no power

  to run pumps and our toilets no longer have water to flush

  we will go back to outhouses. Who is going to make the

  toilet paper? Who is going to make the shoes that we will

  need to do all of that walking since we may not have cars.

  Who is going to kill the cows to make the leather for the shoes?

  I have got to stop my brain is begining to bleed.

  A couple of months ago the brother giving a talk was bragging about all of the good work

  that the WTBTS does thru their missionaries. He said that all that the Christendom's missionaries

  do is feed the hungry, distribute clothing, and set up hospitals to take care of the sick.

  He said "not that all of those things are bad things, they are good things, but what do

  our missionaries do? They give spiritual food that can lead to everlasting life, where there will

  be no hunger or sickness." I thought that the only trick is not to have your

  Bible student die on you from starvation or sickness while they enjoy learning

  about the Bible.

  The Witnesses are a sad bunch of people. Tell a hungry person here you can eat

  my Bible or tell a cold person here you can wear my Bible.

  "New Generation Teaching Proves How Close the End Is"

  recently a circuit overseer said in one of his talks that the new light.

  on the generation teaching shows how very close the end is because.

  there will be a time when the over lap will end.

  If the Witchtower Babel and Trick Society stopped talking about how

  close the end is many JW's would do the slow fade. Once they saw

  how refreshing it is not to have to stay on the JW treadmill they would

  stop all together.

  It is the same reason why they turn in their time. If they did not have to

  turn in time they would stop going out.
